That Time I Attended a Wedding in My Pajamas…

by Julie Pennell | Nov 10, 2014 | across the ponderings, Relationships

by darreldressel@gmail.com | Oct 1, 2014 | across the ponderings, Relationships

I just got back from Paris and sadly my iPhone did not return with me. She is now French, possibly dressed up in a little beret and surrounded by delicious bread and wine all the time — at least that’s what I hope.We took the Eurostar train into Paris from...

Throwback Thursday: Birthdays Then Vs. Now

by darreldressel@gmail.com | Sep 25, 2014 | across the ponderings, Relationships

I came across this pic when I was making our rehearsal dinner slideshow earlier this year. This is a picture of a girl on a mission. I don’t know how old I was (I’m really bad with figuring out kids’ ages–my seven-year-old nephew could be five...

30 Reasons Why I’m Looking Forward to 30

by darreldressel@gmail.com | Sep 22, 2014 | across the ponderings, Relationships

The big week is here — I’m going to be turning 30 on Thursday (eek!) For the past five years I’ve been kind of blah about my birthday. Once you’ve hit 25, what is there to look forward to really? When I was younger, I always envisioned myself...

by darreldressel@gmail.com | Sep 9, 2014 | across the ponderings, food drink, Relationships

The idea was to create a Chopped or Cutthroat Kitchen type of cooking challenge where we’d give the boys certain ingredients and a time limit to cook a fun dish, but it ultimately just turned into an amazing double date with two main courses and a lot of wine…On...

I seriously don’t know who’s more excited abou I seriously don’t know who’s more excited about these books — me or my 3-year-old. My mom brought me all of my childhood copies of The Berenstain Bears, and it’s pure nostalgia. These were my first book loves, and I’m so happy I get to share them with my sons. Which one was your favorite? I think mine was Trouble With Friends (oh, Lizzie Bruin!) #throwbackthursday

My mom was set to come the week my baby was born b My mom was set to come the week my baby was born but the lockdowns started happening and she never made it. It wasn’t how I ever expected my mom would meet one of my babies, but it was perfect, and my heart is full 💕
